| Hydrogel has become an ideal wound dressing due to its good three-dimensional structure and excellent biocompatibility, etc. Numerous studies have endowed hydrogels with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, adhesion and hemostatic, and pro-tissue regenerative properties to facilitate the process of wound repair. This article reviews the research progress of functionalized hydrogels in wound healing applications and provides an outlook on the future research direction of hydrogel dressings. |
