Objective To evaluate the effect of internal fixation system with tendon hole device in the treatment of PCL tibial insertion avulsion fracture. Methods A total of 90 patients with PCL tibial insertion avulsion fracture treated in Cangzhou Central Hospital from June 2016 to June 2018 were analyzed retrospectively, including 52 males and 38 females, aged from 36-58 years, with an average age of (40±12) years. All patients had unilateral injury, including 49 cases on the left and 41 cases on the right. All patients were treated with tendon internal fixation system. After regular follow-up, Lysholm score and Tegner knee motion level score system were used to evaluate the rehabilitation of knee function. Results Among all of the 90 cases, 62 cases were followed up for an average of (32±2) months (24-36 months). Before operation, the Lysholm score of the affected knee was (27.6±2.0) points and that of the healthy knee was (96.5±1.7) points, and the difference between the two sides was statistically significant (P<0.05). At the final follow-up, the Lysholm score of the affected knee was (96.2±1.8) points and that of the healthy knee was (96.8±1.6) points, and there was no significant difference between the two sides (P>0.05). The mean preoperative Tegner score was (1.6±1.1) points and the last follow-up Tegner score was (7.0±1.3) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Lysholm score was excellent in 46 cases, good in 14 cases, fair in 1 case and poor in 1 case, the excellent and good rate was 96.8%. Conclusion The treatment of PCL tibial insertion avulsion fracture with tendon preparation hole internal fixation system has good results of simple operation, definite curative effect and good recovery of knee joint function. |
